ROMPS– Retired Old Musicians Playing Swing 

The ROMPS Big Band is a 18 piece band, playing Glenn Miller style Music from the thirties and forties. We specialize in playing for Nursing Homes, Senior Centers and Church Functions. Our Gigs last about an hour and will lift the spirits of the aged and infirmed with music, song and sometimes corny jokes.

We have played frequently at many Nursing Facilities throughout Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

 A nominal fee of $250 is charged for a one-hour program of Big Band tunes from the past.

The band rehearses at the Exeter Chapel Rt 102 Exeter, RI.  Mondays 10-Noon. Rehearsals are open to the public.  You are welcome to stop by and listen to see if what we do is suited to your venue etc.

 We have performed at Yard Parties and Golf Courses 

Our standard fee is $250 for a one-hour performance.
